Two years later, after launching 8mango I was invited by IIT Bombay for the Mood- indigo event in December 2008.
This was the turning point in my journey of crafting ideas using unusual materials, the response from the event was
purely encouraging. This further enabled me to bag an opportunity to create a mascot for their Tech-fest in 2009.
Sports bike – created using e-waste and some metal parts found in my closet. I still remember salvaging a heavy white IBM keyboard which had cheese cube sized keys and especially ‘Return’ in L shaped form.

This was my very first experience to showcase my work in an event, and the response turned out to be positively overwhelming. Which got me carried away with my craft a long way!
Vintage miniature plane using 100s of can clips, wires and more. Each clip carefully place on the other with
utmost precision, it fascinates how the journey unfolded in later years post this event.
