World Food India 2023 Mega food event – poised to host participants from over 80 countries, including CEOs of prominent food processing companies. Inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

The global event turned out be a canvas for sustainable storytelling through a signature artefact crafted entirely from everyday waste – disposable food containers, peel-off soft drink labels, carton boxes, milk packets and plastic spoons that would otherwise end up in landfills. Each discarded element was carefully reimagined and assembled, proving that waste can be transformed into meaningful design. The art-installation was also acknowledged by our Honourable Prime Minister.

The huge butterfly that flew from Bangalore to New Delhi overnight! By choosing recycled materials over virgin resources, the installation significantly reduced carbon footprint, minimised waste generation and aligned seamlessly with the event’s focus on responsible consumption, circular economy, and sustainability.

As a junk artist, I see every discarded object as a carrier of stories and possibilities my role is to give it a second life, where creativity becomes a tool for environmental awareness and meaningful brand expression.
