Event theme : DO – which expresses action. Action that had lead us to evolution, what better way could it be to depict this theme as the evolution of wheel. Wheel that has set the world moving !
Concept which I had proposed to capture the journey of how the wheels evolved from the early stone era till date
This 10x10ft artefact breathes new life into 15 kg of discarded X-ray sheets. Once a silent witness to diagnoses, these materials now speak loudly about the power of sustainability, innovation, and the art of transformation.
This was my second opportunity to collaborate with TEDx Hyderabad, where I created another installation using discarded CDs, around 100 pieces along with discarded flex banners. The theme was SAVE OUR OCEANS.
The artwork was build using the crowd as key participants, who were engaged to co-create as a team building activity.
It’s always inspiring to be part of TEDx Hyderabad. The collaboration has enabled me to go beyond my limits in trying out my art-experiments using diverse materials. The forum has enabled me to build my community that considers sustainability as a sub-set of creativity and lots more!
